The Face of Autumn
It is definitely cooler out these days. Nowhere is it more noticeable than at the places most often overfilled with people in the summer. Now, at this time of the year, visiting these places is such a stark contrast. Instead of hundreds of people basking in the relentless sun, there was just us, walking along a windy, crisp, lakefront beach. Trees were bending in the wind and the autumn gusts blew across the lake and made my ears ache. But it was really beautiful. Little D had his warm cap on, protecting his ears, and he didnt seem to mind at all. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy the walk :)
